Protected Areas Management

Northern Bioscience has worked in and provided expertise to national parks in both Canada and the United States, as well as in Ontario's provincial parks, conservation reserves, and enhanced management areas. Northern Bioscience has conducted life and earth science inventories in over 70 protected areas in northern Ontario, played a key support role in the development of the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area (NMCA), participated in the Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO proposal, and regularly assist ENGOs.


We can put together a team of biologists, planners, archaeologists, and other professionals to deliver the following services:
